Finishes & Customization FAQ's
If you plan to paint your building you will need to clean and prime your steel
with a special galvanized/galvalume primer following all instructions exactly.
Preparation of the steel is very important!
After preparing the surface
and priming with galvanized/galvalume primer you can paint with any exterior
paint. If your building is located in a heavy acid rain or corrosive area
we highly recommend painting your building to prolong its useful life.
If oxidation occurs it is
time to paint your building because this is an early sign of rust. With proper
cleaning and maintenance, this should not occur for many years.
